As a teacher, I imply that transmitting is a form of participatory work, in the sense that transmitting is an invitation to activate receptivity.
A receptivity that allows transmission to be akin to the notion of sharing.
Redefining Technique Classes & workshops
On permaculture -
In search of the sensorial body, Jason Respilieux's workshops explore sensations and the possible transposition of permaculture principles to dance. It is aimed at anyone who is curious about connecting their bodies and senses with their immediate surrounding.
On the senses -
through improvisation exercises and the learning of short phrases, where sight, smell, taste, touch and listening becomes the starting point for a nuanced search for links with what surrounds you, both physically and psychologically.
The workshops focus on collaborative and cooperational practices. To look, to touch, to converse, to hear, to imagine. It is a search for singularity within the collective. It aims to encourage the moving body to accept habits, flaws, occurences and to (re)discover our senses through learning, observing and interacting with others.
