The concrete walls of a modern prison are closing in on Ferran. Berker tries to tell his little daughter that daddy doesn’t work in prison. Tom, a guard, counts the men behind the metal doors and a dancer moves in the light that enters between the bars.

O is a short fiction movie made in cooperation with director Petronella Van Der Hallen and composer Pieter Schuermans. 

 

O is a film which situates itself between fiction, documentary and dance. It questions the notion of freedom and the way we tell our stories. It was made possible by the cooperation of the prison of Beveren.
